Further Perspective on Death - part 4
I would like to continue thinking about death, and the perspective that we as Christians should have on death. As I said on Sunday, death is a big topic and there is much for us to consider. I hope that the past week has helped bring some greater perspective.
Today I would like to share with you this link, a prayer that John Piper prayed at a funeral for a family of 5 who died in a car accident.
It is bitter and yet sweet.
It engages with the horror of death but also the hope of life.
It allows for mourning while bringing comfort.
It is my prayer that this strengthens your faith, and helps you grow in depth in this difficult reality of death.
