LOVE GOD. LOVE PEOPLE.

MAKE DISCIPLES.

Who We Are

We are a close-knit community of believers who gather from Somerset West, Strand, and Gordon’s Bay (Helderberg). We are growing in our knowledge and love of Jesus together. We love to hang out with one another while growing in intimacy with God and seeking to see the lost saved and the saved matured. Liberty is led by Glen and Gregan Bodington and their team of elders.

Discipleship Groups

Your Place to Grow in Faith!

At Liberty, Discipleship Groups are at the heart of our community—every member is part of one, and we’d love for you to join us! These groups are where you can grow and mature as a follower of Jesus, surrounded by others who are on the same journey. They’re more than just meetings—they’re a space to live out your faith, discover your gifts, and build a strong foundation for your spiritual life.

Inspired by Acts 2:42, every Discipleship Group embraces four key devotions: diving into the apostles’ teaching, sharing in authentic fellowship, breaking bread together, and lifting our hearts in prayer. Each group has its own unique flavor.

Ready to take a next step in your walk with Jesus? A Discipleship Group is the perfect place to start. Come find encouragement, connection, and a chance to grow deeper in your faith—we can’t wait to welcome you!

ODW: Is Anything Too Wonderful For The Lord?

Genesis 18:10–15 NRSV 10 Then one said, “I will surely return to you in due season, and your wife Sarah shall have a son.” And Sarah was listening at the tent entrance behind him. 11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in age; it had ceased to be with Sarah after the manner of women. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, “After I have grown old, and my husband is old, shall I have pleasure?” 13 The LORD said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh, and say, ‘Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too wonderful for the LORD? At the set time I will return to you, in due season, and Sarah shall have a son.” 15 But Sarah denied, saying, “I did not laugh”; for she was afraid. He said, “Oh yes, you did laugh.”

As base a thing as money often is, yet it can be transmuted into everlasting treasure. It can be converted into food for the hungry and clothing for the poor. It can keep a missionary actively winning lost men to the light of the gospel and thus transmute itself into heavenly values. Any temporal possession can be turned into everlasting wealth. Whatever is given to Christ is immediately touched with immortality. A.W. Tozer (1897-1963)

Make all you can, save all you can, give all you can. John Wesley (1703-1791)

He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way, which through us will produce thanksgiving to God. 2 Corinthians 9: 10-11
